A production based on the legend of La Llorana: a mother who lost her children and spends eternity searching for them. El Ultimo Vuelo is about the unbreakable bond between mother and child and how they can still be separated by various factors, personal, or social. La Llorana is confronted with parting and loss, constant factors in the history of humanity. Alexander Carrillo continues the theme to apply it to the current refugee crisis. The life of those fleeing war and other threats is characterised by parting and loss.
