Karim Kalonji

Everything Karim does, is self-taught. He was fifteen when he found his passion for the hip-hop scene. He tried various disciplines at first but he soon started focussing on rap and breakdance, and he now shares rhyme and word via the many mix-tapes, demos, radio appearances, freestyle sessions and other performances he does. He raps with the group Double Kombat and his dance group is called the Psycho B-boys. He is also a member and founder of the all-star crew Team Shmetta. Since 2010, his profile as a B-boy (breakdancer) has been growing faster than that as an MC (rapper), without abandoning the latter entirely. Karim is also a much sought teacher for, among others, Hogeschool Gent, Habbekrats, C-Mine, Younited9000 (Victoria Deluxe) and Transfo Collect.
