Ugo Dehaes

Ugo Dehaes (1977) studied dance and choreography at P.A.R.T.S., the school of Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. He then worked for three years with Meg Stuart/Damaged Goods. In 2000 Ugo founded his own company kwaad bloed, and has since choreographed twelve full-length performances. He previously worked with professionals as well as with children and amateurs for a very varied audience. His work is extensively programmed in Flanders and the rest of Europe. Ugo is also active as a dancer, actor, coach and dramaturge for productions by other (young) makers. In recent years, Ugo has mainly choreographed objects such as drones and home-made robots.
